WWII M1 HELMET w/INVASION NET – COMPLETE

Here we have an extremely fine World War II U.S. M1 steel combat helmet with early front seam, swivel bales, invasion net, and complete liner that is in near mint condition. The exterior shell has a gorgeous rough textured finish, complete with original paint and is free from dents, rust, corrosion, or damage of any kind. The liner is complete with all components including the leather chinstrap, nap strap and is with the early light khaki webbing. The dome is with the Westinghouse “W” in the circle logo. The leather chinstrap exhibits light wear, and some surface cracks as can be seen in the photos. The light khaki chinstraps are not frayed at the bales and are free from any damage. The invasion net is with the ¼ inch openings and dark OD green in color. It is fitted very tightly to the shell and appears to have been that way since the war. This helmet is in unbeatable condition and is as nice as they get. Just a magnificent example and almost impossible to find in this condition! We will not disassemble this helmet for any reason as it remains in the state in which it was found and has been together forever.
