Springfield 1903 barrel in 6mm, Remington

Description

This barrel is cut to fit a 1903 Springfield rifle action.  It is chambered and the bore is set for the 6mm.  The writing  on the barrel is as follows:  D-XX-FTC  KP 512 KP 4-14-81  ROBT. E. KEEL
This is part of a gunsmith's retirement cleanout that I've been selling on his behalf. The chamber is tight and the rifling looks good. Exterior bluing is 85% or better the crown looks good as do the barrel to action threads.  There is a #4 size hole where a fronts sight would go.  It is not threaded and is .025" deep.  It may be for a set screw on a collar front sight. Please read on for my policies and check  my reputation as a seller.  I have to add the following for eBay policy reasons.  This is a barrel for a sporting rifle and can not be adapted to any banned or assault style firearms.  It will take a competent Gunsmith to install this to a proper Springfield bolt action receiver.  I  am not responsible for anything you do with this rifle barrel after purchasing it.
