    Description

    Revell's North American X-15 model from 1994 features ; Movable vertical fin and dive brakes, Removable rocket engine, Hinged landing skids, Removable canopy section, Elaborate decals and Special display stand.  Listed as "Easy To Assemble".  Our first astronauts were X-15 pilots that flew above 270,000 feet and received Astronaut Wings.   Flown from 1959 to 1967, suffering several wrecks between the three X-15's that were built.  "Unofficial" because it was dropped rather than taking off from the ground, the X-15 was credited with reaching 354,200 feet and achieving Mach 6, 4,520 Mph. Beautiful box art.  Adult owned, no pets and no smoking.
