This is all unnecessary, but if you appreciate and understand the value and imoprtantce of learning new, useful "things," then read thru this. Ive learned a lot since i decided to become a gunsmith. I'd rather share my knowledge than get filthy rich because of it. But, I like cerakote. I cerakote everything. Why you wouldn't, makes no sense to me. I have found only benefits in using it. There's literally not one bad thing about it. As long as it is used as an additive rather than a replacement, its all good in the hood my ninj'. The initial claims from the actual company Cerakote, stated that cerakote is stronger and harder than type 3 class 2 hard anodized aluminum. Thats a lie. Anyone can say anything ya know. F**kin joe biden runs the "fact check" department in this country. That should open your eyes. Anyways... I'd f**kin k!ll that little b!+ch if i could get away with it. But, iif you loke cerakote, check out VHT high heat coatings.  Specifically the 2000° stuff. The 550° stuff is cerakote in a can 100%. But, go for the 2000° stuff. Its great. Its damn near spray on anodizing. If anyone wants to know the science behind how cerakote and vht coatings work, I'll gladly explain it. All i am going to say right here tho is that i have seen people on forums thaf immediately dismiss the high heat engine enamel coatings just because they dont have the "Cerakote" label on them. Those people can say whatever they want. It means absolutely nothing at all. They can talk their dumb sh!+ while i prove them wrong with math and science. And if he wants to learn a few new "things" today, i will gladly share my knowledge. I am fairly f**kin' well educated and i was always aware of how beneficial math and science related courses really were. And i enjoy learning. Please take my advice and try out VHTs slyica based ceramic enamel coatings. Hmmm....????? That's the exact same type of coating that cerakote is...??? Wtf...??? Its identical... Could it be that someone simply slapped a new label on an existing coating and introduced it into a new market full of unaware individuals...????  Yes. Why not? Its genius. Also, just random here, dont believe everything just bc.... Mfers aint just sh!++!n' out gold turds. Don't be fooled by the nonsense. If it seems to good to be true, thats because it is. Cerakoted is good sh!+ but still. Its not the gift from God it was first claimed to be. Heres some truth vs ignorance tyoe if stuff for ya... A drop in quad rail is 100X better than a 0 free float m lok Geissele rail. I love Geissele, but, m lok rails don't hold up well in combat. Thats just how it is. That drop in is really chunky and heavy as f**k, aint it...??? Yeah... i know it is. And thats why its bad ass. A drop in is a tank. Matter of fact its gonna take a tank to damage one.
